I would not hesitate to recommend El Ventorillo and have already booked up our next holiday

“We had the perfect multi generation holiday with family and friends in this beautiful finca, comfortably fitting 14 of us in the elegant yet traditionally decorated 3 houses. We loved walking in the extensive grounds, finding ever more beautiful spots for reading or sundowner drinks, dining ( and dancing!) on the terrace and racking out by the pool. The tennis court and ping pong table saw gladiatorial combat. The nearby town of Ronda and the surrounding countryside are stunning... although even in a two week stay it was an effort to drag people away from the house. The owners have thought of everything and the staff are efficient and helpful. We have already rented it twice and plan to return. “

Our holiday at El Ventorillo surpassed our expectations, and we hope very much to return.

Our family and friends have stayed several times in El V. Our repeat visits are mainly because the house and grounds, and location near Ronda, are perfect for all age groups

The main house is grouped around two smaller houses. They are decorated beautifully, comfortable, stylish and eclectic. The immediate garden and grounds are beautifully maintained and laid out but what is sublime is the far-reaching views to the mountains beyond across and a soft landscape of rolling hills studded with home oaks. The swimming pool area has very stylish sun beds and the tennis court is very well kept. The kitchens are well stocked and the bathrooms are decorated in the most lovely mosaics. The attention to detail means that you never want for anything. Even the beds, sheets and pillows are of superlative quality and it is maintained like a 6 star hotel The staff are friendly, efficient and keep the house immaculate. On top of this are the most wonderful walks in the area and of course, Ronda, where there are several favourite restaurants. Ronda is stunning: the gorge, squares, churches and shops worth multiple visits. I would not hesitate to recommend El Ventorillo and have already booked up our next holiday. If I could own a house in Andalusia, it would be El Ventorillo.

El Ventorillo itself is a superb property, centred around the charming finca with its shady veranda stretching the full length of the main building. Beautifully furnished with both style and comfort in mind, this outdoor “room” provided the perfect setting for pretty much our entire holiday – breakfast, reading, cocktails, dinner, family games, a communal jigsaw … Moments away, the pool area with bar and lovely ancient trees for shade could not have been a better place to spend quality family time together. Further away from the house, the Indian tented vantage point was a wonderful place for a sundowner.

“The best villa we ever found. As safe for a grandmother and carer as it is stimulating for teenagers. Teens coached by Juan on the court raced to breakfast on the terrace, setting them up nicely for a long hack with the local stables before a late afternoon swim. And whilst they are out there is El Ventorillo Lite: a slow breakfast, a swim, a book by the pomegranate tree, delicious tapas in Ronda returning in time for supper and debate on the terrace.”
